Description
Description
Welcome to this beautiful and spacious fully furnished double bedroom in a four bed townhouse.

Situated at the top of the house, the room has its own landing and kitchenette facility for private use. The house has gas central heating, double glazed windows, and a large shared kitchen overlooking a paved garden. The main bathroom is shared with just 1 tenant.
(TV in bedroom has been removed)

It is ideally located for access to central London, just 8 minutes to Brixton underground station by bus and 6 minutes by tube train to central London. It is also just 15 minutes from Tulse Hill or Streatham Hill stations. Also ideal for the A23 road to the seaside town of Brighton and Gatwick airport.

The room offers its own entry phone and room key, tea and coffee making facilities. Wi-Fi is available. Outside the house there is free off street parking.
From here you will be at a short walk to shops and amenities, short walk to trains from Tulse Hill to London Bridge and Streatham Hill to London Victoria and at a short walk for buses to Brixton underground and the colorful street market.

Brixton serves many London buses routes including the West End shops, the London Eye, the City of London and Piccadilly Circus.

In 2005, the last traditional Routemaster bus ran through Brixton on Route 159. The bus garage situated at Streatham, Telford Avenue is known as Brixton Garage to distinguish it from another bus garage that existed in Streatham. The "Brixton Bus Garage" was until 1952 a tram depot.

My sister and I look forward to welcoming you to Coburg Crescent.

We have had a very good time in this house. Everything was clean and tidy and brand new forniture. Easy to get around even though to get the house from the bus stop is like 10 min walking distance.

The stay in the house Comfort and its sister Binmi we found very pleasant.
They had a wonderful bed in a beautiful spacious and quiet room. In addition, there was a private kitchenette and a shared, clean shower.
Measuring we did not need since we every day from morning till late in the evening sat in the center.

Disadvantages:
* From the airport it was difficult to find the house. The train our people being wrong which we from the airport (Gatwick) have traveled nearly 3 hours;
* It is weekdays than 45 minutes by bus to the center. We liked to do this well but keep in mind there. Traveling by bus is much cheaper as the subway;

+ The room we got (top room) was neat & clean. Nothing fancy, but definitely sufficient for our needs. It had a nice view (considering this is London!) on a little park/playing ground at the back of the house.

+ Comfort and her sister (and the other people we've seen at the house) were all very nice and welcoming.

+ Neighbourhood was nice, we never felt threatened or in danger even though we walked home in the dark a couple of times. Bus station was a 10min walk and went straight to the Brixton station. Convenient little neighbourhoodsupermaket 200m from the front door.

- The common kitchen downstairs wasn't all that clean, it felt like everything had a thin layer of grease on it.. We planned on using the kitchen but ended up not using it again after our first Pizza in the oven. We didn't mind really, but don't expect a shiny clean kitchen.

Would definitely recommend, and for this price in London this is a great place to stay!

My wife and I (50 years old) were satisfied with the accommodation as we were only there to sleep at night.

Restaurants do not exist in this location in our opinion, except for a pub though. A supermarket like Aldi or Lidl, we have not found the spot, ie, because you have not first go by bus.

When we arrived in the afternoon in the house a permanent home resident was there who has handed us the keys, but lacked towels (were the evening but later). A TV in the room, as shown in the pictures, there is not, however - although we have complained but no TV, it was provided.

The room was clean. The split with other guests bathroom / toilet and its own kitchenette but were unhygienic and partly not clean.

In about 35-45 minutes. is to take the bus at Big Ben / London Eye.

Our request to the landlord to check with the airport if our return flight takes place at the specified time was, unfortunately, rejected by the owner. We felt they were rude.
