it's fun to be in a neighbourhood where you otherwise may not go during a city trip. Leith is alive and there are excellent places to eat. Ginny's reception of her guests is flawless.

Good place to stay, a little bit far rom the center but by the bus it's 10 minutes. Ginny is nice and got nice cats :)

I had a fantastic time at Ginny's place. The location is excellent - a 15 minute bus trip into the city with very regular services, even whilst the Hogmanay festival was running. The property itself is lovely and very homely. It is heated, the room is very spacious and we had open access to the kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Edinburgh. The only warning is if you aren't a cat person - the cats are very friendly and cuddly!

We had a really great time in Edinburgh. Also thanks to Ginny. There was everything we needed. Our room was cosy and we slept well every night. I think that is one of the important thing when you are in holiday. We could use the kitchen and took a shower in the evening. So everything was fine for us. It was easy to get to the city, there are enough buses. All in all our stay in this wonderful, interesting city was very nice, even in November.
............by the way I liked the cats in Ginnys house!

Very cozy house, Ginny was perfectly helpfull and cheerfull!
The kitchen is not very big, but fully equipped. Bathroom isn't small, there's enough place to turn around :) I will definitelly recommend to stay at Ginnys', she is the perfect hostess and very welcoming too!
Transport is not complicated, but our first ride was difficult because I forgot to print a map and we got out on the wrong stop - so DO print it, the stop is right near the house and if you stop there it'll be ok. There are 3 busses from city centre, though one of them rides longer, so I recommend using #8 and 19.

We spent very nice holidays in Edinburgh !... Ginny is a lovely person, who shares her sweet home in a friendly way with her guests. It's a nice place, quiet, and not far from the sea; and it's easy to get to the city center by bus at any time of the day.

The busstop is in front of the house, so Edinburgh city was really quick and easy to reach.
