The apartment is recently renovated and it is composed of 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 1-living room, a kitchen and a wide private garden area. The bedroom is small and simple, but pleasant, with a queen bed.
The living room has a sofa that can fold out into a queen-sized bed in case of 3 or 4 people staying. A set of glass doors lead out onto a large patio/garden area, which is decorated with green plants and flowers, and a small table and chairs to relax out in summer evenings.
The kitchen, next to the living room, also has a door leading directly out onto the patio and it's newly renovated with all the necessities - stove, oven, fridge, teapot, coffee maker, and cooking and eating utensils.
The bathroom (with shower, no tub) is in the main hallway next to the bedroom and it's newly renovated as well. The apartment, which has air-conditioning, is near a busy street, but set in the back part of the building so that you don't get any traffic noise. You can hear the traffic a bit while you're on the patio, but not enough to be bothersome.
The location is central enough so that it's easy to get around the city by bus or metro and even on foot.
You can reach S. Peter ( the Vatican ) in 20 minutes walking and when you are there you are in the center and continue to walk!!!!!
Anyway many and frequent buses ( 98 -46B - 881 - 916 . 571 ) run in the parallel street Via Gregorio VII at a short distance from the apartment. Buses 98 - 881 - 46B have their terminal just beyond the river at the boundary of the historical centre. From there you can walk to visit Piazza Navona, Pantheon and all the historical center. Bus 916 has its terminal in Piazza Venezia, close to the Capitolium and Roman Forum. Bus 571 is comparable to a turistic bus as it crosses the city ( Corso Vittorio - piazza Venezia - Roman Forum - Colosseum - S. Giovanni - Santa Croce in Gerusalemme ).
At the other end of the street -in Via Aurelia -you will find the bus stop of bus 49 which in 5 ninutes reaches the Vatican Museum and leaves you just in front of the main entrance.
You can also reach metro A in a few minutes taking bus 31, 33, 247.
In the immediate neighborhood of the apartment you'll find plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and coffee bars.
The area is very safe at any time. Very close to the apartment there is a big bar-restaurant open day and night.
You can smoke ouside in the patio.

Reviews of this property
We really enjoyed our stay in Rome and at Rosa's apartment. Rosa and her husband received us warmly and told us everything we needed to know. The apartment has everything you could wish for.
In August 2016 i stayed in Rosa´s flat with my daughter and my son. The flat is very nice and clean, you find everything like you see it on the fotos. Very good is the Aircondition. Near the flat are two supermarkets and the bus line to the historic centre. It´s only 20 minutes by feet to the st. peters cathedral. Rosa and her husband picked us up at the Metro Station when we arrived at roma. The two are very friendly and polite. We had a great time in roma.
when we arrived, Sandro, Rosa's husband welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. then he showed us the area, and a very nice bar near the flat, where we all had a coffee together. he adviced us about shops, transport etc., which was very helpful. we immediately felt like home:)
the flat is completely renovated and the look is very nice. 4 people have enough space. the bed and sofa are very comfortable.if you like to cook, everything is there.
an extra plus of the flat is the terrace, with lots of plants. we definetely would like to come back and recommend this flat to everybody who likes to have some comfort, and wants to stay close to the Vatikan and the center of Rome.
It was a pleasureable journey in Rome. The apartment was the ideal place to start excursion and for a rest after exploring the city. It is lovely. Nearby are a lot of bus stations from where you can reach the Vatican museums, Piazza Cafour or Piazza Venetia. Thank you for a very good stay.
Rosa and Sandro are great hosts, likeable and ready to help. They live not far way from the apartment and both are speaking English, Sandro speaks French as well.
The apartment is well kept and quiet. We ( grand parents and 18 year old grandson) slept very well during our 6-day stay in Rome.In the evenings we prepared delicious meals in the small but well equipped kitchen (food bought in the nearby supermarket) and enjoyed iur meals in the nice living room.
The Vatican City and the Centre of Rome with all its famous sights can comfortably and quickly be reached , either by walking ( we did this on the first day) or by bus (several bus lines are running close 'round the corner', one even throughout the night , and the tickets are not expensive).
At our arrival we took a taxi at the airport, sent Sandro a sms and when we arrived he was waiting in front of the house. In case we had decided for the Sitbusshuttle , he had picked us up with his car at the bus station.Very helpful!
First we got a detailed introduction into everything concerning the apartment and then Sandro showed and explained us the bus stops, shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood.
We really enjoyed staying in the apartment and send again many thanks to Rosa and Sandro for the nice tour by car to places we had not found ourselves and for the aperitif at their home afterwards.
This comfortable, clean and individually equipped apartment with a large,
wonderful and mostly shady terrace makes you feel at home at once. A supermarket, a restaurant and bus stops are just around the corner. And whenever you have got a question just call the owners, one of them will give you the
information you need or even show you around. Thanks to Sandro who took
us to wonderful places we probably wouldn't have found easily, we spent a gorgeous evening sightseeing, talking and enjoying his company.
Thank you for the lovely apartment. We felt very comfortable. The care and introduction by Sandro was great. A dream would have been a sun lounger on the terrace. The location was ideal and easy to reach by bus. Many greetings to Rosa
Viele Grüße an Rosa
A week spent in Rome. Very pleasant stay. The apartment is very clean with a beautiful terrace. The owner is very attentive. The niece of the owner met us at the metro station to take us to the apartment.
Une semaine passée à Rome. Séjour très agréable. L'appartement est très propre avec une très belle terrasse. La propriétaire est très à l'écoute. La nièce de la propriétaire est venue nous chercher à la station de métro pour nous amener à l'appartement.
During our trip to Rome in early April, we lived in an apartment located at the Vaticano - Gregorio VII. The owners of the apartment, Rosa and Alessandro, was very nice and helpful all the time. They met us the first day and showed how everything worked in the apartment and explained how we could use to transport (bus, subway, etc.). The apartment was clean and pleasant. In addition, we had access to the internet which we appreciated.
The hosts, Rosa and her husband, are very kind. They picked us up at the Vaticano bus station (saving us a trip into the center of Rome) and showed us around the neighborhood to get us oriented. They showed us the bus stops, but we are serious walkers and so the 18 minute walk to the Vatican, plus 5-10 minutes to get into the center of town was not a problem for us.
The apartment is clean, pleasant, and equipped with iron and hair dryer.
It has two beds. The sofa bed is as confortable as a regular bed.
The kitchen is kind of narrow, but has oil and spices (and a useful shopping bag).
BTW while there is a bus to the metro, the two times we took the metro, we just walked up the street Via Richelmy, crossed Via Aurelia, continued straight forward (one soon comes to stairs), and were at the subway in ten minutes. Alternately one can go up Richelmy, cross the short bridge at Via Aurelia, and then immediately go left (one then sees a gas station ahead of one). This way one has a wider sidewalk to walk to the subway, and it’s the better choice if you have luggage with wheels.
